[Venice] Principali vedute di Venezia disegnate da Giuseppe Rebellato

Venice, Gio. Brizeghel, n.d. (ca. 1860), fully lithographed with title page, 1 bird's eye perspective, 9 city views, 2 prints with traditional dress and one church interior, all beautifully hand-coloured (partly also heightened with gold) and provided with gum, in original flexible green paperboard with cloth spine and lithographed title "Raccolta delle principali vedute di Venezia disegnata da Giuseppe Rebellato" on front cover, oblong 4to.

Very small foxing in blank lower margin throughout the entire bookblock, boards stained. Else a very good copy. One of the prints with traditional dress has a slightly smaller size and is mounted on the second print with traditional dress (most likely contemporary). Extremely rare publication of a series of magnificently hand-coloured "vedutes", not a single copy in Karlsruher virtueller Katalog! Only one copy found on the market, with a total of 16 leafs but uncoloured. Our copy with title, 12 plates and a contemporary added plate. Possibly copies with a different number of plates, both coloured and uncoloured, could be obtained from the publisher.
