Godfried de Groot (1894-1963) - Portrait Ton Kuyl

Silver gelatin print, signed in the photo. 18 x 13 cm. Ca. 1948. Ton Kuyl (1921-2010) was an actor and became famous mostly for his adaptations of the books by Louis Couperus for TV, such as De Stille Kracht.

De Groot became known for his portraits. In 1937 he was invited to photograph Queen Wilhelmina.
