"16 september 1946 - 12 mei 1950." Photo album with ca. 280 pasted photos, mostly ca. 6 x 9 cm., mostly with inscriptions, original cordbound cloth, oblong folio (25 x 35.5 cm.).

Lacks several photos, else in very good condition. Contains several times the portrait of the unidentified compiler (considering his interest in radio stations possibly a wireless operator), e.g. with family members and with colleagues. Some of the inscriptions: "Inschepingsverlof mei 1947"; "Het onding dat ons naar "Nederlandsch Indië" bracht" [SS Johan de Wit]; "Toen waren ze nog lekker" [bananas]; "Inspectietocht naar Tandj. Radja"; "Sgt. Rietveld met zijn gekleurd personeel"; "Wat het Japanse leger achterliet. Dump Palembang"; "Laatste opnamen van sold. Spin. Overl. dec. '47"; "Onze baboe's Roeminah en Tobinah Bin Hassan"; "Klaarmaken voor actie!"; "Zondag 17 mei '49. 9 jongens van 5-8-RI sneuvelden bij Poelau-Pangoeng. Zij werden door hun makkers in de bergen begraven"; "Sold. Nijeveld schoot een tijger". (2) "Ter herinnering aan mijn diensttijd overzee." Similar album with 55 pasted photos by the same compiler as the former, mostly portraits of members of the Afdeling Radio en Telefoon at work and photos on the occasion of the return journey, original cordbound, decorated cardboard, oblong 4to (lacks many photos). And with another two smaller photo albums and a vinyl record with recording, sent as military mail (total 4 albums and 1 record).
