The complete first period (then format changed) of this notorious subversive satirical monthly, with contributions of the foremost French artists (also known as 'Charlie mensuel'), directed by G. Bernier, edited by Delfeil de Ton, Cavanna. Contributions & illustrations by Reiser, Feiffer, Charles Schultz, Al Smythe, Willem, Wolinsky, E.C. Seger (Popeye), Tom K. Ryan, Peter Vos, Moebius (=Jean Girand), Marcel Gotlib, Jacovitti. etc. (5 issues are slightly trimmed as they had previously been included in a bound volume and one issue is slightly waterstained). In no. 152 we find the closing statement: "Pour des raisons de santé, Charlie Mensuel cessera de paraître pendant trois mois…C'est un peu triste, mais la santé avant tous!".
