[Belgium] 2 letters: (1) Emmanuel de Moura y Cortereal, marquis of Castel Rodrigo (?-1651)

Signed letter in French addressed to "Le Prelat (du) Parcq", dated 27 May 1645, bifolium with one written page, 31 x 20.5 cm., with on the last page the address and the remains of a paper seal.

Lacks seal with paper flap with a small part of the address. Emanuel de Moura Cortereal, marquis de Castel Rodrigo (?, 1590 - Madrid, 28 January 1651) was governor of the Southern Netherlands from 20 September 1644 to 1647, and was thus in office when this letter was written. (2) Francisco de Moura y Cortereal, marquis of Castel Rodrigo (1610-1675). Signed letter similar to the former and addressed to the same Du Parcq, dated 16 May 1666, bifolium with one written page, 29 x 20 cm., with on the last page the address and paper seal. Francisco de Moura Corte Real e Melo, 3rd marquis of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, son of Emmanuel, was governor of the Southern Netherlands from 1664 to 1668, and was thus in office when this letter was written.
