Very rare and early work on the Chinese natural sciences, recorded by Jesuits from Chinese sources, incl. an impressive, large folding map of a part of the globe, on which is indicated the trajectory of the eclipse of 25 September 1727. The manuscript table at the end of part 3 shows the "Heure et quantieme de l'Equinoxe de printamps à Pekin" and "Cycles Ecliptiques". (total 2)
