Wrapper with small dents, back cover slightly sunned/ soiled. Kwadraatblad. Very early attempt at making a suitable typographical alphabet for computers, a classic example in the world of experiment typography. (2) Timothy Epps. Alphabet. Ibid., idem, 1969, (18) p., incl. wrapper, illustrations, original wrapper, 25 x 25 cm (Kwadraatblad). Epps built on the work by Crouwel and developed an alphabet based on recognition of patterns by both humans and machines by means of a cathode ray machine. And with another 9 Kwadraatbladen, incl. 16 cubes and a playing field, designed by Wim Spreeuwers using letters from Epps's alphabet. And with 4 more. (total 15)
