Front board with a few rest. small tears, else good copy of this rare and early Sinterklaas book + Sint Nikolaas en zijn knecht door J. Schenkman. Amsterdam, G. Theod. Bom. Early edition (c. 1860?) of the first 'real' Sinterklaas book in which 'Zie ginds komt de stoomboot' was published. Wrapper sl. thumbed, (shabbily) rebacked, lacks back board. Nevertheless attractive on the inside.
