[1924 Olympic Games] Two photocards of the 1924 Olympics

written by the team leader of the Dutch Athletes to his deputy Spaan. (1) Le Village Olympique. Rare card from the Olympic village at Colombes where it was stamped. "Hierbij ons lager. Het is dik in orde hoor. De stemming best, trots de regen hedenmiddag. Groote opening. Ik wordt heel gek van de vele zalen (...)". Written and sent on 5-7-1924. (2) Arrivé du 800" plat. Jeux Olympiques de 1924. "Waarde Spaan. Ik wil jou als mijn plaatsvervanger niet vergeten en stuur je een extra kaart. In deze finale had Paulen kunnen zitten als hij niet zoo stom geloopen had. (?) is woest op hem". Sent on 11-7-1924.
