Vellum sl. soiled; lacks ties, else fine. With folding letterpress prize filled out in pen, awarded to Jano Ludovico Gregory Pierson, dated 1821, signed by the "curatores gymnasii Alcmariensis" J.H. Blom Adrsz., J.G. de Loches, J.A. Kluppel and 1 illegible, and also signed by rector J.C. Fullink. Very rare, not in Spoelder. Coat of arms on the covers repeated in woodcut on the prize. On: P.
