Luigi Ghirri. Amsterdam, Canon Photo Gallery, 1975

Stunning artists' book featuring colour photographs published in conjunction with the solo exhibition 'Il Sistema dell’assenza' held at the Amsterdam based Canon Photo Gallery from August 1-14 1975. The book was made in collaboration with Galleria Il Diaframma Milano and printed by STIG, Modena. Includes a text by Arturo Carlo Quintavalle in Italian and English plus a biography.

Ringbound, white paper cover with the artist's name printed in blue/green, 21 x 21 cm, 44 pp. Contains 15 pages with photographic colour prints, one on each page. Many images shown are key works of the prominent Italian photographer (1943 -1992). Very rare book, not found anywhere. It is very similar in lay-out and content to Ghirri's book published in 1976 by Fotogalerie Forum Stadtpark, Graz.
