visschers, met een bootje uit Engeland naar Holland, in januarij van den jare 1781. The Hague, printed by A.D. Schinkel for J.P. Beekman, 1831, (12),32 pp., engr. title-p. by J.C. Bendorp after J.C. Schotel, finely bound in contemp. longgrained red mor., both covers with gilt border around sides, frontcover with gilt owner's initial "B" in lower left margin, gilt board edges, turn-ins and spine.

Foxed at the beginning. Gilt number erased from spine. Attractive copy. (2) A. des Amorie van der Hoeven. Herinneringen. van mijne academiereis in 1843. Leeuwarden, G.T.N. Suringar, 1845, (8),288 p., modern boards. First and final page browned. With contemp. owner's entry of N. Viëtor on verso halftitle. Account of a trip through Germany, visiting Bonn, Heidelberg, Giessen, Göttingen, Gotha, Jena, Halle, Leipsic, Dresden, Berlin and Kiel. (3) J. Kneppelhout. In den vreemde. Occas. crudely opened, resulting in tears and missing parts of blank margins; partly waterst, Paper over spine splitting/ partly rubbed away. Still, an acceptable copy with old owner's entry in pen on first free endpaper: "C. Netten Burgemeester". -and (4) 1 other similar (J.-J. F.
