Troppau, J.G. Trassler, 1784, 2 vols., 268; 167,(1) p., contemp. unif. marbled calf, both frontcovers with old. gilt lettered owner's initials "G.v.G.", gilt and ribbed spines w. 2 contrast. mor. letterpieces, sm. 8vo.

Both vols. offsetting from turn-ins. Bindings rubbed/ sl. worn; spine-ends of the first volume neatly restored. Both vols.. w. old owner's entry "Ex Libris Samuëlis M. Bölöni anno 1787 Kuttenberg", and w. owner's entry "J.H. Randall jr. 1962" in ballpoint on upper pastedowns. John Herman Randall Jr. (1899-1980) was an American philosopher, New Thought author and educator. Moses Mendelssohn (1729-1786), German-Jewish philosopher during the Enlightenment and main figure in the development of the Jewish Enlightenment, the so-called "Haskalah". (2) ( François N. Charbuy). Germain on title-p. and p. 1. Joints splitting but good holding on cords; binding worn along extremities. (total 2 works in 3 vols.)
