The Hague, M. Uytwerf, 1698, 2 parts in 1 vol., (12),162; (2),165-322 pp., w. engr. frontisp. by A. Schoonebeek, contemp. gilt calf, 12mo. Sm. hole in margin of frontisp., sl. affecting the image. Occ. sl. wormholed (in a few pages trifle affecting the text). Rebacked using the orig. backstrip and new endpapers (hinge broken). Rare, only 2 copies in Dutch libraries according to OCLC. (3) A. Binding worn and dam. at spine-ends. The second edition (first: 1685) (see the preceding lot). And 3 other French language The Hague imprints in 4 vols., 1702, 1762 and 1771.
