A good copy and a rare complete set.The famous Dutch physician Cornelius (Decker) Bontekoe (1647-1685) was called the 'teadoctor', important for the introduction of tea in the Low Countries. He was a strong promoter of the use of tea, coffee, chocolate and tobacco for staying healthy. Bontekoe's main treatise on tea had first been published in 1678, but hostile reactions against this new drink had even forced the author to flee the country.
