[Pamphlets] Extraordinary convolute of 23 partly rare mourning pamphlets,

various publishers, 1647-1695 [10x 1695], 8 to 72 pages, contemporary vellum, 4to.

Convolute in quite used condition, various pamphlets tanned or waterstained, soiled, earmarkerd etc. Individual pamphlets nevertheless all complete, as far as we were able to ascertain; free endpapers lacking. Contains multiple pamphlets of which only 2 copies are listed in PiCarta, with two pamphlets with only listed copy. Also a number of pamphlets related to the Remonstrants and/or the city of Rotterdam. Six pamphlets on the death of Mary Stuart (all 1695, Knuttel 14138, 14141, 14145, 14148, 14150 and 14151), furthermore pamphlets on the death of Michiel de Ruyter (1685, with dedication by author Th. Westhovius (?), Knuttel 12422), Guiliemlus Anslaar (1694, Knuttel 14010), Michaël Fortgens (1695, 2 different pamphlets), Petrus Cupus and Benjamin Sapma (1647), Joannes Ouwens (1664), Assuerus Mathisius (1651), Conradus Bremer (1668, Knuttel 9706), Gerard Brand de Jonge (1684, Knuttel 12252), Okkerus Pesser (1694, Knuttel 14011), Michaël Klinkhamer (1695), Jan Hartigveld (1677, Knuttel 11648, 1 copy in PiCarta), Laurentius Klinkhamer (1688), Jan Dionysius Verburg (1691), Elizabet van Overveld (1693, one copy in PiCarta) and Jan Oudaen Fransz. (1695), and a stray pamphlet against "Huyse-plonderen" (1653, Knuttel 7469).
