Part 2 lacks leaves A6 and A7, leaves B7 and 8 are slightly damaged. PiCarta lists only the 1821 and 1827 editions. Our edition contains a general title page for the two parts and title pages for each part, all dated 1824. The title page of the second part announces a postcard, distance chart, a map of the Southern Provinces and an Atlas van de bijzondere Kaarten der Provincien, here only the map of the Southern Netherlands is included (probably as always). Maaskamp did indeed publish in 1821 a pocket atlas with 16 maps (now very rare), apparently the publisher considered our travel book the accompanying text volume. Copies of text volume and atlas from the 1821 edition together must be absolutely impossible to find, from our 1824 edition we did not find any other copies at all.
