[Scheveningen] Three rare titles: (1) Description de l'etablissement de bains de mer
à Scheveningue, et Rapport sur la saison de 1828; avec quelques remarques génerales sur l'utilité des bains de mer par J.F. D'Aumerie. Docteur en medecine, medecin des bains de mer de Scheveningue (...). Traduit du Hollandois. The Hague, printed by A.D. Schinkel for S. de Visser, 1830, (8),120 p., with lithographed frontispiece and title, and letterpress price list for accomodations, trips, meals, drinks and baths (p. 118-120), luxuriously bound in contemporary full red morocco with gilt borders on boards, gilt spine and edges (minimal defects).
Translation of: De zeebad-inrigting te Scheveningen, en het badsaisoen van 1828. - 1829. This French translation is even rarer than the Dutch edition, which appeared in 1829; (2) Scheveningen on the North-Sea. The Hague and its Surroundings. With a medical treatise on sea-bathing (...). The Hague, Belinfante Brothers, (1909), (14),137,(7) p., with illustrations, original wrapper (wrapper with minor defects). Extremely rare, we found no other copies, incl. none in PiCarta (nor any Dutch editions); (3) De zeestraat van 's Hage naar Scheveningen, door Constantyn Huygens, opnieuw uitgegeven (...) door Mr. J.G. la Lau.
