[Print drawings] Set of 5 print drawings printed in red or brown,
biblical and mythological scenes, probably Italy (Bartolozzi?), c. 1800, various large sizes.
Occ. minor defects such as mild creasing/ browning, trimmed within plate edge as usual with this type of print. As Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (1726-1798) reproduced drawings with advanced printing methods in the Netherlands, his contemporary Francesco Bartolozzi (1728-1815) made similar exceptional reproductions in Italy.
