Conradi/ V. van der Plaats, 1784-1787, 14 vols. in 7 bindings, with 63 (of 64) engraved plates: 1 large folding world map, 1 large folding map of almost the entire world, 1 large folding bird's eye view plan of Jaffenapatnam and 60 (of 61) mostly folding engraved views and plates, contemporary uniform half leather.

In vol. 6 the plate of the inhabitants of Guinea is missing, else with all plates according to the binder's indices; all bindings with library stamps in the preliminary pages and small label on title of the first-bound volume; apart from vol. 1, all volumes more or less waterstained (especially 7-10); paper across sides more or less damaged (especially 1-2 and 7-8) and many title shields missing; vol. 7 has p. 165-168 incorrectly bound in the preliminary pages. Beautiful and rare collection of the Dutch VOC travels, richly illustrated with, besides the very special world map (California as island) fine views of Achin, Canton, Chau Cheu Fu, Great Wall of China, Goa, Malakka, Nanjing, New Mexico, Old Mexico, Beijing, Punto Gale, Suratte, Ternate and the islands of St. Helena, Mascarinus, Cocos and St. Thomas. Furthermore prints of historical events and meetings, costumes and a print depicting whaling in Firando, Japan.
