[Extremely rare Amsterdam edition] Traitte' des bandages

Par J.B.D.L.G. Amsterdam, Jacques Desbordes, 1719, 91,(1) p., contemporary calf with gilt, ribbed back (slightly stained copy, tear in title repaired, wormhole in spine).

With strict contemporary owner's annotation on the free endpaper: "Ce livre appartient a moy Joseph Sahuc fait a Paris ce 4.7me 1721". Extremely rare publication concerning medical dressings, no copies in PiCarta! We could find only a few copies in libraries worldwide (Universidad Computense de Madrid, digitised by Google and a copy in the Bibliothèque Municipale de Senlis, with "Traitté d'osteologie" by the same author). Of another title by the same and published by Desbordes in the same year "Traitté de l'angeologie, ou discours des Vaisseaux", only one copy can be found in PiCarta (UBA). The various titles suggest that J.B.D.L.G. must have been a surgeon.
