Somewhat stained and here and there tanned copy; here and there small wormholes or other defects; binding slightly worn. With owner's annotation on free endpaper: "Ce livre est a moy Maillefaud Demeurant de l'Albenc 1752". The anonymous author was Adrien Baillet, 1649-1706, other editions were often published under his pseudonum De la Neuville.
