[Drapes] Le Tapissier Parisien

Series of 24 numbered lithographs after Désiré Guilmard, partly with "Lith. Decan" or "Lith. Destouches" (both Paris), bound in contemporary cardboard with gilt-lettered name "Pisters", cloth back, oblong 4to.

Plates slightly thumbed/soiled, bookblock tender (inside hinges renewed). Binding worn. Rare work on drapes, not only for windows but also chimneys, doors and beds. Probably originally appeared titled: Le Tapissier Parisien: recueil de dispositions simples pour la decoration des fenetres, lits, alcoves, etc., ca. 1850.
