Several small defects (e.g. vellum slightly stained). A very good copy with relatively wide margins.
The first edition of this work on Spinola's siege of Breda appeared in 1626. Jesuit Herman Hugo (1588-1629) is mainly known for his oft-reprinted and translated emblem book Pia Desideria (first edition 1624).
