Here and there slightly tanned/foxed; top hinge split and edges of boards trifle rubbed. Good copy. Knuttel 14133.
Scarce work with poetic expressions after the death of Mary II, wife of King William III and Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland from 1689 until her death. The "digters deser eeuwe" are A. Boogaart, P. Burmannus, D. van Hoogstraten, Ch. Pierson, P. Rabus, L. Rotgans, J. Vollenhove and many others. The engraved portrait, with a poem by Sylvius in the bottom margin, is of exceptional quality.
