Leather, title on spine in gilt stamping, boards with double line embroidery and centered arms with text: "The Society of Writers to the Signet" in gilt stamping, marbled endpapers, edges gilt; illustrated frontispiece by G.F.L. Debrie, 4x title in red and black with vignette by A. van der Laan, further vignettes in the text, all pages with ornamental embroidery. The 4 volumes with signature of Guyon de Saudiere. Sticker with number on front endpapers. Bindings with sm. dam., else a good and complete set. Clement Marot (1496-1544) was a French court poet and scholar. (total 4)
