Leiden/ Amsterdam, Q. Visser/ A. van Huyssteen, 1734, (10),373 p., with engraved frontispiece by J.C. Visser, engraved title vignette by J. Goeree and 10 folding engraved plates after A. van Buysen, contemporary blindstamped vellum, small 8vo.
A few minimal defects (here and there carelessly cut open in top edge), but a very good copy in an attractive binding.
Of this fine publication two versions exist: one version with only one plate of the Witte Poort and another version (as with our copy) in which two versions of this plate are included: "De Witte Poort" and "De Vernieuwde Witte Poort, 1734", nearly identical engravings, except for an additional small tower in the second plate.
