[Wendingen & Wijdeveld] Collection of 70 original b/w photos,

all publications by or related to Wijdeveld, smallest 2.8 x 2.2 cm. (1x), largest 24 x 16 cm. (often present in this size), partly with covers of Wendingen issues, nearly all with annotations (by Wijdeveld?) concerning an intended publication of the potos and partly with label of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam on reverse.

Some of the smaller photos were cut from a larger overview photo for separate use. We could not find out whether or not these photos were actually used in one or more publications. We want to provide one example of an annotation, on the back of the holder of the smallest photo: "Affiesje Veilig Verkeer 1928 (n.b. sorry voor het formaat, maar het is wel belangrijk voor het verhaal dus moet ie maar vergroot worden)." Indeed, the collection contains two enlarged versions of the photo. With: 8 more, mostly small publications but also with a rare letterpress library strip of the Kunst-Vakschool Quellinus Amsterdam, designed by Wijdeveld, 21.7 x 9 cm.
