[Rennes prize binding, with special provenance] Anthologia epigrammatum graecorum

selecta et ab omni obscoenitate vindicata. Cum Latinâ interpretatione kata lexin (...). Flexiae (La Flèche), L. Herbert ("sub signo Nominis Iesu propè Collegium"), 1624, (8),446,(1) p., text in Greek and Latin, slightly later gilt calf with the arms of Rennes on both boards inside double line borders with corner ornaments, gilt, ribbed back, all edges gilt (very good copy with old annotations in pen in a few places).

Fine copy in special school prize binding of the city of Rennes, with manuscript school prize of the Jesuit college in that city, presented to Ludovico de la Monneraye, dated 23 August 1680 and with the paper seal of the school. This copy also with collector's stamp on the title page of Count Joseph-François de Kergariou (1779-1849), chamberlain of Napoleon I who also held various other high offices.
