(1887), 172 p., with more than 2000 coloured illustrations on 80 double-page plates, woodcut illustrations in the text, contemporary half leather, folio (good copy, here and there trifle foxed).

(2). J. Sturms Flora von Deutschland. 1. Abteilung. Phanerogamen [everything from this edition]. Zweite, Umgearbeitete Auflage. Stuttgart, K.G. Lutz, 1900-1907, 16 volumes (incl. 2 registers), with 832 chromolithographic plates and 56 monochrome lithographed plates, original uniform half cloth, small 8vo (minimal defects). Near-complete set, including the very rare second supplement but lacking the "Excursionsflora", published in the series Schriften des Deutschen Leherer-Vereins für Naturkunde. The first edition appeared from 1798 to 1855 (total 2 works in 17 volumes).
