Crystal inkwell with silver mount, on round mahogany and silver base, Ø 19.5 cm., with silver dip pen in the shape of a feather, length 20 cm. and letter opener with silver grip and blade of (walrus?) ivory, length 33 cm.

Standard with mark Van Kempen and 835/000, date letter unclear (ca. 1892) and with engraved text: "Aan Th.H.A.J. Abeleven Secretaris-Penningmeester 1867-1892. De Leden en Honoraire Leden der Nederlandsche Botanische Vereeniging." Letter opener with engraved date 17 April 1910, with marks and numbers in the edge near the ivory, probably 800/000 silver (ivory tip with light damage (total 3).
