[Very rare Plantin edition in binding with arms] M. Val. Martialis Epigrammaton libri XII.
No place (Leiden), Ex Officina Plantiniana Raphelengii, 1612, 272 p., with woodcut printer's mark on the title, contemporary blindstamped calf across wooden boards with unidentified coat of arms between the owner's initials "MFGZO" and date 1625 on the front board, 12mo.
With several (deleted) contemporary owner's marks. The binding is slightly worn/ with light damage and lacks the clamps. STCN lists only a copy in London, in PiCarta only one copy is included. Fine edition in a tiny type and an intriguing binding.
