[Almanacs] Nieuwe Vaderlandsche Almanach, voor het Jaar 1787.
Vercierd met fraaije tooneel- en vaderlandsche historie-plaatjes. Amsterdam, A. Fokke, Simonsz., (1786), (24),96,(2),19-56p., with folding handcoloured engraved map of France and 6 double-page engraved plates by C. Brouwer (partly after S. Fokke), contemporary cardboard, 24mo.
Lacks 2 leaves at the end in comparison to the only copy (KB) in PiCarta; the paging of the last part starting at 19 is correct. With stamps on title and edges (Maatschappij Ned. Letterk. Leiden) and inside front board (P. van Cranenburgh, Leiden). Binding slightly worn. Very rare. Contains e.g. the story of the infamous porcelain seller Daniel Raap, hated by the people, who in 1754 was not granted a regular funeral, leading to great unrest (illustrated with 4 engravings).
