The Tatler was founded by Richard Steele, with later contributions by his friend Joseph Addison. The original Tatler appeared three times a week between 1709 and 1711. The Tatler reported on city matters, with news from the coffeehouses and other fashionable meeting places in London. Good set (total 4).
