Bifolium written and signed on one side (6 lines), dated "18 juillet" (no year), 19.5 x 15.8 cm., on laid paper with watermark post-horn in escutcheon (folds, small hole in blank leaf).

Kept in a file stamped "la Maison de l'Autographe" (Paris). Unread memorandum. Talleyrand was a French diplomat and minister of foreign affairs working successfully under the regimes of Louis XVI, Napoleon I, Louis XVIII, Charles X and Louis Philippe I.
