De Stijl. Maandblad gewijd aan de moderne beeldende vakken en kultuur.
Ed. by Theo van Doesburg. 3rd year. Leiden, (De Stijl), November 1919 - November 1920, 12 parts with (erroneous) consecutive paging in one vol., 32; 21-28; 41-104 p., with 14 plates (Bijlage I-XIV) after e.g. Vantongerloo, Archipenko, Mondriaan, Rietveld, Oud and Picasso, original red halfcloth with woodcut vignette by Vilmos Huszár (design 1917) and printed title on spine, 4to.
Waterstaining to blank top corner, binding sl. soiled. No wrappers bound along, but almost certainly due to the publisher; the vignette by Huszár now adorns the binding. Almost certainly ex collection Antony Kok, one of the founders of the periodical, numbered "1148" in pencil on the flyleaf. Ex collection Jan van Riel (1907-1988). Very rare complete year in the original binding. Contains on p. 49-54 (in no. 6) the "Manifest II van "De Stijl 1920" in Dutch, German and French, and on p. 77 (in no. 9) the famous typographic poem X-Beelden by I.K. Bonset [= Theo van Doesburg].
