Engraved map with coloured outlines by Hermanus Veelwaard (1814-1872) and Daniel Veelwaard Jr. (1796-1868), Amsterdam, Mortier, Covens en Zoon, (1845) [in bottom left corner engraved "Herzien 1840, 1845"], 41 x 57 cm., printed on cloth, with engraved title cartouche and legend.

Reverse with remains of tape due to previous mounting, occ. mild foxing, but a good copy. Between De Glind and Scherpenzeel, a spot is marked with orange pen with an unclear name ("Langslee"?), possibly the residence of the original owner. This edition not in IKAR; not in Deys, De Gelderse Vallei or in PiCarta (which does mention the first and second editions of 1838 and 1840 in a single available copy). Very rare, especially copies printed on cloth.
