Watercolour, 25 x 31 cm, second half 19th century, under de-luxe passe-partout.
Yellowed; with 2 small tears in upper margin; strips of tape from former mount verso; (2) (Registration of goods brought in at an English harbour). Grisaille drawing, 52 x 41,5 cm, ca. 1850. Frayed in right margin; traces of former mount/ framing verso. And 7 various other drawings, incl. a drawing in black chalk of a mill monogrammed FM, a view of a bridge in pencil, signed and dated "S. Pijpers 1838", a beautiful, probably 17th century gouache of a falcon (unfortunately browned) and 2 fine 18th century watercolours of classicistic architectural arches. (total 9)
