Leather, title on spine in gilt stamping, sm. 4to, marbled endpapers.
Various plans and text with mild stains. Spine head with minor dam. Binding rubbed and with traces of use. Good copy.
The siege of Flemish cities during the War of the Austrian Succession, with text in journal-form (varying from 2 to 10 pp.) related to the siege of each city, followed by the plan in chronological order: first Menin in May 1744, last Maastricht in April 1748. Other cities include Brussels, Antwerpen, Bergen op Zoom, Oudenaarde and Ostend.
