Adriaen van Ostade (1610-1685) (after). Collection of 5 engravings/ etchings,
all depicting scenes from the everyday life (of a farmer), various sizes, 3x by Willem van Broen (1686-1748) and dated 1705 (of which 2 also with address of his father Gerrit de Broen (c. 1658-1740) (the other one trimmed inside the plate mark), 1x by Jan de Visscher (c. 1635-1692 or 1712) and 1x with address of I.G. Hertel (I or II, 18th century) in Augsburg, all but the Hertel print with engraved verses in Dutch below the image.
Occas. small defects such as stains and marginal numbers in pen. The Hertel print with stamped collector's mark "W.N." (Lugt 2641b) verso, attributed to the Rotterdam collector W. Nijs, who sold his collection in 1922. Added: a woodengraved print after David Teniers ("Kermesse Flamande"). (total 6)
