Tjeerd Deelstra, Fluxus notes

Large collection of photocopied Fluxus documents used in Deelstra's Fluxus course at Delft Technical University. Deelstra worked as an associate professor at the Art History Department of the Faculty of Engineering and set up an art library.

This lot contains around 30 large files stored in a wicker basket, mostly sorted by artist. With scores, essays, xeroxed booklets by Robert Fillou, Ben, Albert M. Fine, Bici Hendricks, Al Hansen, Jackson MacLow and various Japanese and Danish artists. Also contains various correspondence files, notably between Dick Higgins and George Brecht (very entertaining) and between Higgins and Tomas Schmit. Letters between Higgins and Maciunas from 1962-1968 include interesting sections about their Fluxus fall-out.
