The ticket has been perforated for 5 various days, and 1x in the middle, and carries stamps of the municipality of Amsterdam and a tax stamp of North Holland. Very rare admission ticket for a then very expensive subscription, costing 30 guilders; (2) "9 Olympiade Amsterdam 1928." Gilt-lettered copper pin with the arms of Amsterdam, enameled in red, black and gold, diameter 1.7 cm, length 5.5 cm; (3-4) "IXe Olympiade K.N.A.U." Two copies of the same pin, one bronze-coloured, the other silver-coloured, with the text in relief, diameter 1.6 cm, length 6 cm; (5) Typed letter of thanks in A4 size, for contribution to the XI. Olympiad at Berlin, 1936, addressed to Herrn J.H. Pootjes of Laren, dated 21 August 1936, with letterhead of the "Organisations-Komitee für die Olympiade Berlin 1936 E.V.", signed with stamp. Intended as accompanying letter for an "Erinnerungsplakette" (not present). All 5 items in this lot from the possessions of Johan Hendrik Pootjes (1882-1944).
