Incunable leaf 1498
One leaf, folio 148 recto and verso from the Prague Missal. Konrad Kachelofen and Melchior Lotter, Leipzig, 1498. One illustrated capital (Christ and disciples). Various capitals and words in red. In the previous century, incunables were frequently taken apart, after which loose leaves with different typography and by various printers from various countries were sold together in a file (with a short description for each leaf). This is an example of such leaves.
Added: 2 (recto and verso) attached incunable leaves, lacking a piece of text across the entire length of the leaves. No author, publisher or date. Various capitals (red and blue slightly run out due to damp). Legal-historical text. Latin. (total 2)
