Circa 1942-1943, compiled by W/O Les Jennings, RAF (Coastal Command) 265 Sqdn., 228 Sqdn., 282 Sqdn. With ± 240 photos (incl. several picture postcards) as well as several drawings and clippings, all mounted. Most with (cynical) caption. Interesting archive with photos of places such as Freetown, Lake Victoria, Lagos, Congo, Kisumu, Kibo mountain, the Seychelles, Egypt and the pyramids, Mombasa, Cairo, Aden, Dar-es-Salam and Rwanda. Also with images of African tribes such as the Makadini, N'yangori, M'komba, Masai, M'ziba, Kamba, Kikuyu and Nandi and a dwarf working at the RAF Camp Kisamu. Also war photos of the HMS Illustrious and '"U" boat crew being called to Harp practice', among others.
