Macaeus, 1577, 8,(8),296;83;132;68 leaves, with woodcut printer's mark, contemporary turned limp vellum with contemporary title "Hollerii Opera" in pen on spine, edges blindstamped.

Occ. waterstained/ sl. tanned. Several quires with wormtunnel to inner upper corner, sl. touching the running title. Without flyleaves and pastedowns with defects; vellum stained, and tanned on spine. Early collected edition of the medical works of Jacques Houllier (c. 1500-1562). The Periochae VIII (not mentioned on the main title) comprise the last 68 leaves and have a separate title page.
