Bici Forbes, Rx-, 1970-1978

Blue plastic canister with 47 gelatin pill capsules. The capsules contain rolled-up slips of paper presumably printed with humorous messages. Forbes made a series of Stress Formula Publications which promote laughter as a form of healing.

This seems to be a unique piece. A similar piece consisting of a vitamin bottle with 26 pills, titled Rx: Stress Formula, is part of Moma's The Gilbert and Lila Silverman Fluxus Collection. Very rare work.
