Catchpenny print, sheet size 42 x 34 cm, w. 12 fingercol. woodcuts (probably cut by Alexander Cranendocnk (1799-1869)), each w. 4-line letterpress verse in Frisian below, numbered "N. 97" in upper right corner, with address: "To keap bij F. Houtkamp, to Snits", ca. 1830.

Folded twice, otherwise a very fine copy. De Meyer p. 203; De Lange cat. 97 (issue with text in Dutch). Rare print on trades and professions, one of the few prints in Frisian language by Jan de Lange the Younger, known with his own address ("to Dimter") or the address of his retailer F. Houtkamp of Holtkamp. De Lange was the only publisher to issue prints in Frisian language; 2) "De drukker, de post, de poffertjes kraam, kermis vermaak (...)." Catchpenny print, sheet size 41 x 33 cm, w. 20 fingercol. woodcuts depicting professions and a few Roman Gods, numbered "No. 19" in upper right corner, Sneek, F. Holtkamp, ca. 1815. Folded twice, sm. central hole on the crossing of the folds, otherwise a very fine copy. De Meyer p. 61, and Noman cat. 19. The print was produced by J. Noman in Zaltbommel with the address of Holtkamp, one of his retailers. The blocks were taken over from W.G. van de Sande & Co in Amsterdam, where the print was also numbered 19, but with text in Dutch and French, titled "Ambachten, bedrijven en vermaken". And 3 others with the address of Holtkamp, numbered 5, 110 (with dwarves) and an incomplete/ dam. print depicting the four seasons. (total 5)
