Lacks the 6 supplemental plates. Occ. stained/ fingersoiled; one plate strengthened at middle fold. Upper hinge split. The second edition, from the library of H.W. Koch, with his bookplate on upper pastedown. Handcoloured copies of this classic in its field are rare. The work presents the newly discovered fire hose and shows large fires in 17th-century Amsterdam, comparing the use of old fire-fighting equipment with the new fire hose.
