Leaf 52 torn out. Upper joint split. Nice and neatly written manuscript dealing with geography in short questions and more extensive answers to general and specific geographical subjects. It starts with the question: "Que'est ce que la géographie?" Answer: "La géographie est une science que enseigne la division de la terre et les situations de ses différentes parties". The questions are, for example, what is a cape, a mountain, a volcano, a lake, a river, astronomy, who discovered America, etc. Furthermore with the 5 continents in extensive chapters, with their countries, seas, streams, rivers, capes, islands etc., general remarks and mentioning discoverers such as Columbus and Captain Cook. On the final page, Van Hooff added a simple index.
