[Strongmen] Hercules and giant toys

Friedländer, Hamburg, 1892. In 2 parts, ca. 61 x 86 and 56 x 86 cm. Lith. no. 1005.

Mild wear along folding lines. Reinfs. on verso. *Hercules probably refers to the Luxembourg strongman John Grün, self-proclaimed strongest man of the world at the end of the 19th century. He was known as the 'Luxembourg Hercules', although it is not entirely sure he is depicted here.
